At their recent banquet, the Winkler Heritage Society unveiled, and presented John J. Elias with, a copy of I Remember When, Volume 2, a second compilation of memories of the Winkler of yesteryear.

The books are available from Marj Hildebrand, 325-8644, Ellie Reimer, 325-7701, and at the WHS Archives in the Winkler Centennial Library on Wednesdays 3 - 5 p.m.
Cost is $15.
Society members will also be selling these books in the Southland and Crocus malls in the weeks prior to Christmas. Look for their table, and find some great book deals!
Hot off the press, I Remember When, Volume 2 is expected to sell quickly, so get your copies while they are still available.
